2022 Chardonnay was produced from the same areas of the vineyard as previous seasons. As the vineyard was leased to Giaconda in 2022, the opportunity to have the wine made there for our own label was also available. This is the only vintage of our wines made by Rick and his team and represents great value for a Beechworth Chardonnay.
Sunny in personality with plenty of natural poise on board. Opens with biscuity spice, nougat, citrus, fresh peach and nectarine. The palate is focused, smooth and tight across the middle with some crisp acid crunch. Fruit driven and delightful. Wine Companion 91 points
Mid-straw and bright in the glass. Aromas of nuts, yoghurt, white stone fruit, nougat and melon skin. Mouth-filling, creamy and quite luscious and generous on the palate.
