There's a growing buzz about Roussanne among Beechworth winemakers. It's easy to see why, especially in a cool year like '22 where a natural richness of expression is so beautifully countered by scintillating acidity. Baked pear, apple and quince, all generously spiced in cinnamon, are lifted by pretty honeysuckle florals. The palate is rich and dense, almost beeswaxy, with a spiced ginger note that resonates long. An impressive wine by any reckoning. The Wine Companion 95 Points

Mid yellow colour showing some early development—as is the bouquet, which has evolved nuances of lightly buttered toast, creamy lees, kerosene and smoky reduction. The palate is rich and full-bodied, ample in flavour and seemingly quite high in alcohol. A generous mouthful of dry white wine which is now showing some aged characters.
