Welcome to Warner Vineyard, home of premium Beechworth wines.

At Warner Vineyard grapes are hand picked from vines grown in decomposed granite soils which allow the vines to naturally manage their yield to ensure optimum fruit quality. Our fruit is keenly sought by renowned winemakers however we keep the best fruit for our own wines using our knowledge of our vineyard to select the best rows. Our aim is always to produce straight varietals, however in some years we take the opportunity to produce white blends of either Roussanne Marsanne or Marsanne Chardonnay. These wines are designed as ‘alternative’ wines and something where we can experiment and explore different approaches.

Product Details

2022 Chardonnay was produced from the same areas of the vineyard as previous seasons. As the vineyard was leased to Giaconda in 2022, the opportunity to have the wine made there for our own label was also available. This is the only vintage of our wines made by Rick and his team and represents great value for a Beechworth Chardonnay.

Sunny in personality with plenty of natural poise on board. Opens with biscuity spice, nougat, citrus, fresh peach and nectarine. The palate is focused, smooth and tight across the middle with some crisp acid crunch. Fruit driven and delightful. Wine Companion 91 points

Mid-straw and bright in the glass. Aromas of nuts, yoghurt, white stone fruit, nougat and melon skin. Mouth-filling, creamy and quite luscious and generous on the palate. Stone fruit, vanilla and nutty oak are all at play. Plenty of chardonnay flavour here. Aaron Brasher, The Real Review, 92 Points
